Greetings!
I extend a warm welcome to each one of you to this new year of IWD 2020-2021.
Today I stand tall and it is a moment of joy for me to raise the curtain for 2020-2021 and to LEAD THE CHANGE.This year has been a roller coaster for all of us. Yet, we are learning to battle this with might.
I begin by sharing this thought which has been on my mind. Fear not, to the external parasites. Convert it to “face everything and rise”.
IWD 323 has been rotating its wheel swiftly. The district has been fortunate enough to make a positive impact on the society with triumph through its deeds and services. It has been a wheel of fortune for those who seek help and is filled with passionate and compassionate women.
“Lead the change “is the beautiful tag given by our IIW President. If each one of us takes responsibility with compassion, care, and reverence towards the society, we can cross the threshold with ease.
While we know that HOPE is a beautiful gift that has been bestowed upon us by Association President Vasudhaji for 2020-2021, she requests all the clubs to continue their long term projects, in the lines of HOPE (H - Health and hygiene, O - Old people and Orphans, P - Patriotism, E - Environment).
Each club President is free to choose a tag of their choice among the 4 and work towards it by setting high goals. These projects may be taken upon an individual basis as a club or can be done jointly. I express my gratitude and thankfulness for such a vibrant team of executives and office-bearers. We have many stalwarts and past chairmen, project coordinator among us who are the pillars of support.
With the able guidance of these pillars I am sure we can achieve the set targets. This is a moment to bring out our uniqueness and innovative ideas.
Let’s remember that friendship and networking are the root of a successful journey. Let us fill this journey with fun and frolic.
Let’s make THE CHANGE and lead by example and show that the inner wheel is a place for “hope”. I thank each one of you for tying the strings together and traveling with me. Wishing you all a very successful, peaceful, and joyful year ahead.
